Various degrees of difficulty

Hiking means different things to different people. Some like it cosy, others love a challenge.

Pleasure hiking

These hikes are easy and can be completed by everyone. The routes are flat and easy, hiking trails are well-developed, the tours take between three and four hours.

Hiking holidays

Easy hikes with slight altitude differences on good paths, forest roads and side roads. Walking times are not longer than five hours and the distances are max. 15 kilometres. These tours are generally suitable for families.

Mountain hiking

You have to hike to higher altitudes in these hikes. They take you through beautiful alpine pastures, and there can be small summit ascents. Walking times are not longer than 6.5 hours and the distances are up to 20 kilometres. Mountain hikes require surefootedness and good physical fitness.

Trekking

Trekking tours take you to altitudes of up to 2,500 metres. For these tours, you need to have a head for heights, surefootedness as well as good physical condition and hiking experience.
